Bronway is currently seeking experienced automation professionals in the areas of mechanical design, control system design, programming, documentation, machine assembly & part manufacture.

Candidates should:

  • have prior experience in the OEM automation industry.
  • have a good understanding of principles of industrial automation including assembly, debug, control systems, sensors, PLCs, and pneumatic systems.
  • be capable of working both individually and as part of an R&D team
  • be a good communicator, capable of liaising with all internal departments, our customers and suppliers.

All positions are permanent, full-time, and are based in Bronway HQ in Bray, Co Wicklow, Ireland.

Positions currently on offer include:

Senior Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter (Fitter-Turner).
Minimum experience:5+ Years
Qualifications:A minimum of Fitter-Turner Senior Trades or Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting FETAC Level 6 Advanced Craft Certificate.

Junior Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter (Fitter-Turner).
Minimum experience:Recently qualified
Qualifications:A minimum of Fitter-Turner Senior Trades or Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting FETAC Level 6 Advanced Craft Certificate.

Senior Automation Design Engineer.
Minimum experience:7 - 8 Years
Qualifications:Mechanical Engineering Degree/ Tool Design Diploma.

Junior Automation Design Engineer / draughtsman.
Minimum experience:1-2 Years Experience in a design/CAD Office.

Control Systems Engineer.
Minimum experience:5+ Years automation electrical experience.
2+ Years PLC programming experience across multiple software platforms.
